From Your Ears To Ours

This summer, Under the Sun shared the story of Yanira Doyle, who was  stranded in her condo building after the housing bust.  She saw the building slipping into disrepair, renters moved out, but she always paid her mortgage.

On Friday, James Burnett shared Doyle’s story with Miami Herald readers in his business column, as an example of the sensible approach to home ownership that fell out of vogue before disaster struck. To read Burnett’s article about how Yanira Doyle resisted keeping up with the Joneses and what lessons this holds for South Florida, click here.
