Pirates on Las Olas Boulevard/ Trina Sargalski

These ladies were spotted jogging down Las Olas Boulevard on Saturday.  They were not alone– clusters of pirates preceded them, grunting “Arrr!”  They were members of the Fort Lauderdale Hash House Harriers, a club that combines socializing (i.e. drinking) and running from bar to bar.  On this particular afternoon, they were celebrating International Talk Like a Pirate Day.  This holiday apparently started well before the movie franchise . Dave Barry help promote the holiday in his syndicated column.
