Jennine Capo Crucet, author of the award-winning How to Leave Hialeah, speaks and signs books this evening (12/28).  You can see her at Books & Books Coral Gables (265 Aragon Avenue, Coral Gables) at 8 pm.  On her blog, Capo Crucet writes that she will also present “the much-anticipated official release of the book’s companion EP, Hialeah’s Finest: Songs Inspired by How to Leave Hialeah.” Capo Crucet currently lives in Los Angeles, but she likes to get home whenever she can.  We recently interviewed Capo Crucet about her book and her beloved hometown.
