Bric a brac

by Trina Sargalski

This weekend, give yourself a break. You’ve been working hard, running yourself ragged.  Batteries need to be recharged.

People pay big bucks and travel thousands of miles to enjoy our warm(er) clime, our amazing pink-orange sunsets, the burgeoning food scene, the music, the mermaids, the ocean.  We live here! So this weekend, take some of that beauty for yourself.

Lay back in the sun with the tall beverage of your choice and take a listen to Episode 4 of Under the Sun this Saturday at noon on 91.3 WLRN/91.5 WKWM.  Or listen while you take a leisurely drive down to the Redland for some cinnamon rolls, fresh strawberries, fruit stands, and rejuvenating vistas (note: Knauss Berry Farm is closed on Sundays).  Enjoy a Sunday supper in the old style with family, friends, and good stories on Sunday at 7 pm.

However you decide to listen, please let us know what you think.  We strive to tell the stories of South Florida, so if you think you have one we need to know about, let us know here or at web@wlrnunderthesun.org.
