In the Amateur catagory, our runners-up include a lawyer working on a humorous memoir about her pre-marital dating escapades and a corporate consultant working on a novel of international intrigue, based in the Amazon basin.

Much radio love to all who attended the "Evening Under the Sun" event in June. We previewed stories and interviewed guests from Episode 3: Literary South Florida. Winners of our unpublished writers contest read from their works and Poem Depot set up shop.

Hear what South Florida authors really think about this gentle sea creature... We put together a mix of jokes and jabs by Dave Barry, Campbell McGrath and others. At the end of the day, though, they mostly support and sympathize with these sweet marine mammals.
